Doctor Appointments Are Fun?

Joshua had a doctor appointment in Indianapolis yesterday, and we got an unexpected treat. Some former NFL players came to visit the kids. A few Colts greats and others were there including Bill Brooks and Barry Krause. Josh and I got some autographs, and you can see Josh here with former New York player and current Purdue professor Greg Lasker. They put a smile on kids' faces and the dads' too!

18 Months and Going Strong

Happy 18 months, kids! You've made it to another milestone, and you're doing great!

Everyone is walking well now, and Ella can nearly run. They are a bunch of fast movers. It is hard to keep up sometimes.

Here is Ella running around with her favorite purse.

They have developed a growing urge to climb up anything at their eye level or lower. With so many toys around, it makes for some creative interactions.

Ella found a more comfortable piano-playing posture.

Abby wanted to see the rabbit outside the kitchen window. (We helped her get up there, obviously.)

Their listening skills and vocabulary are increasing, too. It's great to be able to watch them go get a toy I've named and bring it to me or point to a body part they've learned.
