Message From Doug

Young Couples ABF,

Be thanking God for His continued hand on the Boltons as Christine perseveres at St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis. Although Christine is regularly not feeling well due to the meds and the physical growth of the babies in and on her body, the pregnancy, as of today, is at 25 weeks.

Be praying intercessory prayers to God for Christine and Shane as well. The constant physical discomfort and wear on Christine is getting wearisome for her. The emotional wear of being in bed all the time can be a great challenge for them. The spiritual battle of everything combined together is a great burden on this dear couple.

How could you love on the Boltons? I'm glad you asked. Here are some practical suggestions:

- PRAY, PRAY, PRAY (for Christine, Shane, the babies, the hospital staff, and God's living grace & glory)

- Send and email of encouragement. Shane and Christine would love to here what you are up to so that they can better stay in the loop of life outside of hospital room 241. Send an email of encouragement and write in such a way that you are NOT expecting a reply. You can email them at shanebolton@hotmail.com or boltonstv@aol.com.

- Send a card/letter to: St. Vincents Women's Hospital, c/o Room 241, 8111 Township Line Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

Thanks for loving on one of the saints (Col. 1:4) through your prayers, letters, time, and gifts! Doug

They're Growing

All five babies are growing - four are about 15 ounces and one is about 11 ounces. Christine is continuing to adjust to being in the hospital and appreciates prayers and cards! If you are able to also visit her, please contact Karen Helmer at dkluhelmer@aol.com to schedule at time.

Heading to the Hospital

Christine had a flurry of contractions Monday evening, so I took her down to St. Vincent's Women's Hospital. They put her on some new medications to control the contractions, and she will likely be staying there for the duration of the pregnancy. Please pray that God would control the contractions and that labor can be avoided for several more weeks. We are hoping to make it to December.

Also, pray for Christine's comfort and encouragement since boredom and loneliness can be a struggle in this situation. The medications even make it hard to do simple things like read or watch TV.

Finally, pray for my health and safety as well. I'll be doing a lot of driving back and forth between Lafayette and Indianapolis and will be getting less sleep and good food than usual.

If you would like to send cards, her mailing address is St Vincent Women's Hospital room 241, 8111 Township Line Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46260.
